IT'S A NEW YEAR!!

We had a great organizational meeting last night! Seventeen ladies (plus one little lady, Emily L.) were able to come and get the ball rolling for the new year. Deven Swan will be working on getting our lines of communication running smoothly, and this is one place you'll want to check frequently for upcoming events.

In the Near Future...
-Ladies' Retreat: THIS FRIDAY!! People who are riding up on the church van need to be at the church at 5:30. Kristy Lewis has graciously agreed to drive the church minivan.

Featuring Guest Bonnie Keen www.bonniekeen.com

Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! 2 Corinthians 9:15

-Craft Night: On Monday, October 6th beginning at 6:30 PM, Kristy Lewis and Tammy Luckey will be hosting the first activity night of the new year. Even if you don't feel like you're the "craftiest" person around, please come and enjoy learning something new.

-Bible Study: Bible study will be every other week, beginning on October 13th. Deven Swan will be leading, and the topic of study is TBD. :)

-Nut Sales and Pancake Breakfast: Nut sales are running now through October 5th. Pancake Breakfast tickets are on sale now as well, and work times are available. The breakfast will be on October 11 from 7-11 AM. See Judy Ackley for more information.

-Book Night: Our first book review night will be October 20th. Sarah Swan will be bringing us the review. Come and find out what's going on in the world of Christian literature!

We hope you're really excited about Women's Ministries. If you have any ideas about what you'd like to see YOUR ladies' group do, please contact Deven Swan by email, or --if you're willing to risk her forgetting-- tell her in person! Remember, this group exists to encourage and refresh the women of Marion First Church of the Nazarene, and to equip those women to serve the Lord even better. Have a blessed day.
